The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) of the Government of Karnataka has declared the results on 18th June 2022. PUC 2nd results 2022 were made available for students at karresults.nic.in from 12:00 PM onwards on Saturday, 18th June 2022. A total of 61.88 per cent of students have cleared the Class 12th exam, which is the all-time highest. The PUC Examination board conducted the Karnataka 2nd PUC 2022 exam from April 22 to May 18, 2022, across the state. As many as 6,84,255 students wrote the examination. As per the Education Department Officials, it includes 6,00,519 regular students, 61,808 repeaters and 21,928 private candidates enrolled for the 2020 exam. This marks a sharp drop from 2021 when a 100 per cent pass percentage was recorded.

According to the Department of Pre-University Education reports;

  • Madivalara Sahana and Shewta Bhimashankar Bhairagond have topped the Arts stream with 594 out of 600. 
  • Simran Sesha Rao has topped the Science stream with 598 marks.
  • Neelu Singh, Akash Das, Neha BR and Maanav Vinay Kejriwal, have secured the top rank with 596 marks for Commerce. 

The Science stream has recorded the highest pass percentage- 72.53 per cent.

BC Nagesh State Education Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, girls have outperformed boys. While 55.22 per cent of boys and 68.72 per cent of girls passed have passed the examination.

Note: 

  1. Successful students can apply to receive scanned copies of the answer sheets of the 2nd PUC in August 2022. 
  2. The Karnataka 2nd PUC Revaluation and Retotaling Application window will begin in July. 
  3. Candidates can check the Karnataka 2nd PUC form online and fill it out. 
  4. Students are advised to visit the official website of the Karnataka Board to check their Karnataka 2nd PUC Revaluation Form after it is declared.
