Admissions to Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University for 2022-23

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University has invited the aspirants to enrol for the online admission process undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2022-23 academic year, with an expanded line-up of courses and increased capacity. The university will conduct a common entrance test on July 10 2022(Provisional). The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the entrance exams. The university includes 85% reservations for Delhi-based students

DSEU offers an advanced diploma in software programming for women, trans women.

The University was started in 2021-22 and the first round of admissions took place in December 2021. The intake which was 6,000 in 2021-22 is increased to 7,373 for the 2022-23 academic year. These include; 

  1. 4,960 seats for diploma courses, 
  2. 2,265 for undergraduate programmes and
  3. 148 for postgraduate programmes. 

The programmes will be offered across 19 campuses, including three upcoming ones in Mayur Vihar, Dheerpur, and Okhla.

Candidates can apply for admission to;

  1. 15 full-time diploma programmes, 
  2. 2  part-time diploma programmes and
  3. 16 undergraduate programmes. 

The undergraduate programmes include 4 new programs that are being introduced in 2022-23; Bachelor in library sciences, Bachelor in optometry, BSc in hospital management, and BBA in automotive retail management. Other courses include an advanced diploma in automotive mechatronics and BTech programmes (lateral entry). The university is also offering five postgraduate programmes.

The varsity extends to students with scholarships to ensure that eligible candidates are not denied admission due to economic and social barriers. As many as 500 scholarships were provided during 2021-23. The university will provide more scholarships for students looking for 2022-23.  A special scholarship for women is also to reduce the gender gap in higher education. The university is an inclusive institute and is keen on receiving applications from women candidates.  A relaxed cut-off will be made for girls and women
