Hugh Culling Eardley Childers founded the University of Melbourne in 1853. It is the world`s second-oldest higher education and research institution. It is ranked among the top universities in Australia. The University of Melbourne is dedicated to providing a practical experience more than just structured learning. On-campus housing is available.

Description:

The University of Melbourne provides on-campus housing for its students and has 11 residential colleges that are great places to stay.

Living at a residential college might help you establish an academic and social network quickly.

In a lively, loving, and supportive community, the institutions offer sporting and cultural events to supplement students` academic experience.

Accommodations Away from Campus Are Available

Off-campus information:
There are single, double, and triple room apartments as well as dorm style rooms for 5 or 6 people to share.
Room rentals range from $250 to $400 per week on average.
Laundry, internet, a shared kitchen, and 24-hour security are all available to residents.
The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a microwave.
Meal plans are also available from several providers.
