• COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.
• Exam is a gateway for admissions to Engineering and Architecture courses offered by more than 120 colleges/institutes that accept COMEDK scores.
• Through COMEDK exam, candidates become eligible for admissions to over 20000 BTech and BArch seats that are on offer.
• COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system).
• Every year, more than 70,000 candidates appear for COMEDK exam.

Exam Highlights :

• COMEDK 2022 exam which is in online mode and objective type questions.

Things to keep ready while filling COMEDK UGET 2022 Application Form :

• Keep all the documents ready before filling COMEDK application form. This includes academic and personal documents and a passport size photograph.

How to fill COMEDK UGET 2022 Application Form ?

• Applying for COMEDK is a three-step online process which involves registrations, log in and filling the COMEDK application form.
• After filling the application form and uploading the required documents, candidates have to submit the form and make the payment of prescribed COMEDK application fee.
• The application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit card or Net Banking. 

Given below are the steps to fill COMEDK UGET application form :

Step 1 : Registering for COMEDK UGET 2022 

Candidates have to apply for engineering entrance exam on the official website of COMEDK 2022. As a part of registration, candidates have to fill details like name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, ID proof number etc.

After successful registration, candidates will receive the COMEDK log in credentials (user ID and password) on their registered mail ID. Aspirants will have to use these credentials to log in and fill COMEDK application form.

Step 2 : Filling COMEDK 2022 application form

Candidates to fill the online application form of COMEDK. Here, candidates will have to fill their personal, academic and category details. Candidates must note that COMEDK application form must be filled carefully and accurately. Officials will reject application forms with incomplete information. 

Step 3 : Uploading scanned documents

Candidates will have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph, signature & parent’s/ guardian’s signature in the recommended format and dimensions as mentioned below : 

Step 4 : Selecting the preferred exam centre

Aspirants will be required to choose a minimum of three exam centres basis their preference. The allotment of COMEDK test centres will be done on the basis of the candidate’s preference. But, the final decision will be made by the authorities.

Step 5 : Paying COMEDK application fee

COMEDK application fee can be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. Test takers must ensure that the online transaction for fee payment is completed and a receipt is generated. Candidates are advised to save a copy of the fee payment acknowledgement for future reference. 

COMEDK application fee for UGET exam is Rs 1300. However, candidates applying to appear for both COMEDK UGET and UNI-GAUGE (Under-Graduate Engineering Entrance Exam) will have to pay Rs 2400 as the application fee. Step 6 : Submitting COMEDK application form

Lastly, after filling the application form carefully, candidates have to submit their COMEDK 2022 application form. Also, candidates are advised to take a print out of the filled in COMEDK application form for future reference.

• COMEDK counselling 2022 schedule for BTech admissions will be released in the last week of May 2022.
• The counselling of COMEDK UGET 2022 will be conducted for two rounds.

• COMEDK counselling 2022 will be conducted bythe Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admission to the engineering, architecture and medical colleges in Karnataka through COMEDK UGET, NATA and NEET.
• After the declaration of COMEDK result/ rank card and the merit list of exam qualifiers, candidates with their names mentioned in the COMEDK merit list will receive the call letters to participate in the exam counselling for the document verification and seat allotment.
• Candidates will be allocated seat basis their preference, COMEDK rank and the availability of seats.

Counselling Date 2022 :

Who can attend COMEDK Counselling ? 

• Candidates who have appeared and cleared COMEDK UGET exam.
• Candidates who have passed class 12th/ equivalent with 45% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, OBS of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Maths along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer.
• Supplementary candidates can appear in round 2 counselling subjected to the fulfilment of eligibility.  

COMEDK 2022 Counselling Process at the Reporting Centre :

• The counselling process for COMEDK will be held for admission to engineering, architecture and medical courses offered at colleges in Karnataka.
• The document verification and seat allotment process will be held in 2 rounds.

Each round will be spread across 12 days with 7 sessions per day. Take a look at the detailed COMEDK counselling process below :

1.    Report at the counselling venue :

• Report to counselling centre as per the reporting time mentioned, along with all required documents.
• Candidates can only attend the document verification process as per the sessions allotted for a specific rank.
• Go to check-in counter as per the Rank numbers/session being announced.
• Proceed to verification section if you have completed Check-in Process.
• Show documents as requested at Check-in Counter and enter the counselling venue.
• Candidates will have to report at the below address in order to get their documents verified as a part of COMEDK counselling process.

2.   Get your document verified :

• Fill two counselling verification cards available at the verification section) & arrange your documents as per the order mentioned in the list of document required (mentioned below).
• Go to the verification counter.
• Verification officer will verify all original documents & DD and retain a set of photocopy of all documents verified.
• Proceed to next stage if your verification process is completed.

3.   Biometrics and photo verification & registration :

• Complete the biometric verification and registration process.
• College the registration slip.
• Proceed to the COMEDK counselling hall along with the registration slip.

4.   Select your preferred seats :

• Fill the demand draft details and three choices of Course/ College that are available and which you wish to opt during the seat selection.
• Wait for your rank to be announced.
• Go to selection counter when your rank is called & select the seat as per the availability at the time *Exercising the option by the registered candidate involves selection of a seat in the order of merit subject to the availability of seat and the college.
• Proceed to next counter to get an acknowledgement of seat selected.

5.   Acknowledge the of seat allotment :

• Collect your seat acknowledgement letter proceed to deposit the DD.
• Submit your DD along with seat acknowledgement letter.
• Proceed to the next counter and wait for Original Allotment Letter.

6.   Collect your allotment letter :

• Wait for your rank to be announced.
• Collect your Original Allotment Letter & Fee Payment Receipt.
• Verify all details and report to college as per date mentioned in the Original Allotment Letter.
