  • Alliance University is a private university that was established in 2010 
  • Alliance University Management Aptitude Test (AUMAT) is a gateway for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) course offered at the Alliance University.

Pattern
  • The examination duration is 1 hour
  • Candidates have to attempt 45 multiple choice questions
  • The paper will have 50 marks
  • The questions are divided into five sections: Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge, English Proficiency and Comprehension.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Application Details
  • The application fee for AUMAT 2022 is Rs 1000 for Indian & SAARC Nationals.
  • For NRI applicants, the fee is Rs 2000 and for other foreign national applicants, the fee is US$50.

Steps to fill in the AUMAT 2022 application form: 

For online application:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the application form tab and then click on ‘Apply Online’
  • You will be redirected to a page where he/she needs to fill in details like Name, Mobile Number, Email, DOB, Religion, Nationality, Domicile, and Category.
  • Fill in the details and click on submit & continue. Next, enter address and again submit & continue.
  • Next, enter parents details, educational details and pay the fee.
  • Fee can be paid through Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Net Banking or through demand draft drawn in favour of "Alliance School of Business" payable at Bengaluru.

For offline application:

  • Step 1: The AUMAT application form can be obtained from the office of admission. For the same, the candidate needs to make a payment of the application fee in cash or through demand draft drawn in favour of "Alliance School of Business" payable at Bengaluru
  • Step 2: The application form can also be downloaded from the University’s official website. Send the application form along with the demand draft and required documents to the university on the following address:

**Candidates who wish to appear for AUMAT 2022 must ensure that they fill in the application form before the deadline. Incomplete forms or entries received after the deadline will not be entertained by the officials. 

Fee Structure

AUMAT 2022  is Rs 1000 for Indian & SAARC Nationals. For NRI applicants, the fee is Rs 2000 and for other foreign national applicants, the fee is US$50.

Analysis

AUMAT 2020 –  conducted by Alliance University in various centers. After the exam experts from Edunews sat on the question paper, studied, and offered the following comments. As Notified AUMAT comprised of 5 parts viz Quantitative Aptitude, conceptual, GK and comprehension. The paper has 45 question carrying 50 marks.

Quantitative Aptitude – Under this part the topics chosen for drawing the questions are Geometry (Lines, angles, Triangles, Spheres, Rectangles, Cube, Cone etc.), Work and time, Ratios and Proportion, Profit & Loss, HCF etc. The questions are of simple in nature therefore the candidates who have studied at the level of 12th standard can score good marks.

Conceptual- Under this part questions are from the conceptual issues from various functions of management. Planning organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating and controlling are the topics on which questions directly relates. Candidates having conceptual knowledge can do better in this part.

General knowledge – In case of general knowledge AUMAT, have been drawn from current affairs at the state level, country and also global. The candidates who have the habbit of updating themselves with current affairs on a regular basis can score good marks.

General English – Questions under this part have been drawn basic English/ Grammar – noun, pronoun, preposition, fill in the blanks, phrases, tense etc. As most of the candidates have knowledge of GE they can expect good marks.

Comprehension – Under this part, candidates are expected to comprehend from the passage and answer questions given at the end. Candidates having the knowledge on the issue can score good marks without any difficulty. Experts from the Edunews have observed AUMAT 2019 was moderate as such many candidates will walk through the test to get admission in Alliance.

Counselling
  • The candidates those shortlisted for the counselling rounds will be provided with a separate call letter to attend the counselling. 
  • The counselling schedule will be published on the university website after the declaration of result.
  • Counseling will be conducted in various centers Bengaluru, New Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Guwahati, Raipur, Ranchi, Vijayawada and Pune.
  • At the time of counselling, candidates have to verify their original documents and fill the course and college preference. 
  • Candidates will be allotted seats at the time of counselling in the counselling venue. Those will be selected for the counselling have to pay the counselling fee.
  • If any candidate will not reach the counselling venue on given date and time, their candidature will be cancelled. Such candidates cannot perform the further activities of admission.

Eligibility

Interested candidates must ensure that they fulfill the AUMAT eligibility criteria. Applications that do not comply with the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials.

  • Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
  • Candidates belonging to the General category should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have obtained 45% aggregate in graduation
  • A valid score in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/NMAT by GMAC/AMAT is acceptable
Cut-Off
  • The marks obtained by a candidate (in percentage) and the candidate`s performance in the Personal Interview (PI) are cumulatively considered for the candidate`s selection to the institution. 
  • The Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test will release their AUMAT cut off marks after the announcement of AUMAT result. 
  • The candidates must secure the minimum AUMAT cutoff mark to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds of the AUMAT. 
  • The AUMAT cutoff marks will be different for each counselling rounds. 
  • The AUMAT cutoff marks will also vary with the category of candidates. 
  • Difficulty level - No(s) of candidates, No of qualified candidates and no of seats are the factors for determine cutoff marks for AUMAT.

Results
  • AUMAT 2022 results will be available online and candidates can check their scorecards by visiting the official website of Alliance University. 

Steps to check the AUMAT 2022 result

  • Visit the official website of Alliance University
  • Go to the BBA section
  • Click on the ‘AUMAT 2022’ result tab
  • Enter the registered User ID and password
  • Once the details are submitted, the result will appear on the screen
  • Download the scorecard and take a printout of the same 

 

  • The authorities will prepare a merit list of shortlisted candidates according to the marks scored in AUMAT. 
  • The shortlisted candidates need to appear for the Personal Interview round. 
  • Admission will be granted on the basis of the combined score of personal interview and entrance test scores. 
  • Candidates should prepare well for the interview. 
  • Candidates must also note that the University also considers other parameters like a scholastic and extracurricular record for admission to the course.
Admit Card
  • AUMAT 2022 admit cards will be released online on the official website of Alliance University, Alliance School of Business. 
  • It must be noted that admit cards will be allotted only to those candidates who complete their registration process successfully. 
  • The test-takers can download the same from the University’s official website.

  • Visit the official website of Alliance University
  • Click on the ‘AUMAT 2022 Admit card’ tab
  • Enter the registered user ID and submit the details
  • The admit card appears on the screen
  • Take a printout of the hall ticket

NOTE:

  • In case any of the above-mentioned details are missing or are incomplete, report it to the officials for correction.
  • The admit card is an important document, and the same needs to be carried to the exam centre. Candidates found without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Exam Day Conduct and Guidelines:

Along with AUMAT admit card, it is important for candidates to carry some other documents and things to the exam centre as well:

  • Candidate’s fingerprint and photograph will be taken at the time of AUMAT. 
  • These will be matched at the time of admission at the particular institution under Alliance campus
  • Candidate violating the rules of the exam centre will not be allowed to continue with the test and will automatically be disqualified.
  • Calculator, bags, mobile phones, electronic gadgets, etc. are not allowed in the test venue.
