Analysis

BBA:

ACET 2019 was conducted by Dr. Patil University Pune as per the notified syllabus. After the examination is over the expert from the edunews stepped into the analysis task of the question paper. The question paper comprised of 3 parts viz. General English, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs and they carry 30 marks, 20 marks and 50 marks respectively.

General English: Questions figured on General English relates to small passage, grammer such as verbs, adjectives, prepositions, tense, fill in the blanks, jumbled words, proverb etc. as the question relates to fundamental English candidates might not have encountered any problems. Therefore, experts feel that it is easy for them to score the stipulated marks by the authorities of the examination.

Logical Reasoning: The questions under logical reasoning carries 20 marks and they relate to mental ability and also reasoning with regard to blood relation of the group of people, directions and a case. The experts opained that the questions under logical reasoning are tricky in nature as such may not be smooth for the candidates who have not practiced such problems. However, it is easy for the candidates to score decent scores so as to secure eligibility for the admissions.

Current Affairs: the question paper contains as many as 50 questions on current affairs and each question carry 1 mark. The questions pertains to awards won by the individuals in different fields, achievments in science and technology, research and development, recents trends in indian economy, changes in political scenario, socio cultural issues, natural disasters etc. the experts have opined that the questions under current affairs are easy to the candidates who are in touch with news no matter whether print or electronic but definetly it is a hot stuff for the candidates who are not in touch with the news.

Counselling

After the announcement of the results of the entrance examinations, the institute invites shortlisted candidates for further process

  • Shortlisted candidates must attend the Counseling Session and an Interview 10 days after the merit list is displayed.
  • Exact schedule for the counseling session will be informed separately, based on the performance in the written test.
  • Candidates have to bring along with them the Statement of Purpose (SOP), certificates of extracurricular activities if any.
  • Candidates need to carry their portfolio along with a statement of Purpose (SOP).

Seat allocation:

  • Seats in the various programs will be allotted based on the merit ranking of the student and subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for the program.
  • Merit ranking is compiled at the end of each admission cycle.
  • If the seats remain vacant another admission cycle is announced.
  • Merit–ranking is arrived at by calculating the average of the score in the specified entrance test and the score of the personal interview.

Results
  • Ajeenkya DY Patil University will declare the ACET results after 5 working days from the date of the exam.
  • Students will be able to check results on the official website of Ajeenkya DY Patil University (https://adypu.edu.in) and a merit list will also be released along with the results.
  • The merit list would comprise only roll-numbers so students / test-takers are advised to keep their e-hall tickets safe till the merit list is out, the roll number is the application number of the candidate.

Admit Card

ACET 2022 Admit Card

  • Students are requested to take a printout of the e-hall ticket on A4 size paper, only.
  • Also, ensure that the e-hall ticket can also be stored in your phone memory.
  • It is advisable to keep a soft-copy of the e-hall ticket in your smartphone for an emergency purpose.
  • You need to present your e-hall ticket to your invigilator at the test-center.
  • Students should carry proof of their identity with a photo on it without fail.
  • The ID proofs that will be accepted include Passport/Driving License/EC Voter ID card/IT PAN card, Aadhaar Card etc.
  • Once aspirants receive their e-hall ticket, a login id and password will be sent to them on their email ID given by the student during his online registration.
  • Students are advised to keep the ID and password completely secure and confidential and not to disclose it to anyone.
  • The online test booking password is your sole authentication for the online test and other related transactions; it is of no use to anyone else, and therefore, it should remain in your safekeeping.
  • The test center address would be printed on the e-hall ticket or admit card.
  • The ACET e-hall ticket or admit card would be generated as soon as students complete the registration process and pay the registration fee.

  • Now click on the "Download Admit" button

Exam Day Conduct and Guidelines:

  • Candidates must ensure that they reach the exam center at least an hour before the reporting time.
  • The reporting time shall be mentioned on the admit card.
  • Candidates must carry their admit card to the exam centre.
  • Candidates must occupy the allotted seat as per their roll number.
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the beginning of exam. 
  • After completion of the test, candidates need to return their OMR sheet
  • Calculators/watch calculators, electronic diary, pager, mobile phones, earphones, alarm clock, digital watches with memory, slide rule, etc. are not allowed in the examination hall.
