Pattern

ITSAT 2022 is a two hours exam which will be held in both online and offline mode.

Online Test :  

The online exam will be held. The test is of 2 hours duration and is conducted in 2-3 sessions per day at test centers all over India.

Offline Test : 

The test will be held, the test is of 2 hours duration conducted at select cities (Agartala, Aizawl, Baddi, Dehradun, Dimapur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Tura, Varanasi and Vijayawada). The answers have to be marked in the specially designed OMR answer sheet, provided at the time of the admission test.

Both online & offline tests will constitute objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in multiple choice format. There are 30 questions in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English, as per the syllabus.

Application Details

Candidates interested for ITSAT can apply for the exam in following ways :

A) OMR Application Form : Candidates are required to fill up the OMR Application Form and send it to the Admissions Officer, ITSAT at Hyderabad.

B) Online Application :

      • Aspirants can apply for ITSAT 2022 online by filling up the Application Form available at www.icfaiuniversity.in/ITSAT. They are required to make a payment of 700 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa / Master Card / Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway.
      • Candidates who have apply online for the exam are required to upload their scanned passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application.

C) Download of Application Form :

      • Applicants can download the application form after filling their all the details online.
      • Downloaded application form is then sent to the Admissions Office (at the below mentioned address) along with the Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 700 towards the cost.
      • DD has to be drawn in favor of “IFHE - A/c ITSAT Prospectus Fee” payable at Hyderabad. The prospectus to such candidates is sent through email.

The admission process at ICFAI Tech is based on the following :

Admission through ITSAT  :

      • Candidates satisfying all the eligiblity criteria for admissions, can avail provisional admission based on the marks secured by him/her in the ITSAT 2021.
      • All applicants who are offered provisional admission are required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) on or before September 15, 2021, failing which the provisional admission may stand cancelled.

Admission through JEE (Main) / State Level / Other National Level Engineering Entrance Tests  :

      • Candidates who have applied for admission on the above basis are offered admission into the B.Tech. Program based on their scores in JEE (Main) / State Level/ Other National Level Engineering Entrance Tests .
      • Candidates who have appeared in both ITSAT and other tests in order to enhance the chances of getting admission.
      • All candidates seeking admission based on the above test scores, have to indicate their respective test Application Number in the OMR Application Form. They also have to submit the attested photocopy of the score card on or before the prescribed date. Please note that the selection of the candidates will be withheld in case of non-receipt of the test score card before the due date.

Choice of Branch of Engineering :

      • All candidates seeking admission into the BTech. Program have to indicate maximum 5 preferences of Branch of Engineering in the Application Form.

How to Apply for ITSAT 2022?

Candidates interested in appearing for ITSAT 2022 can apply by any one of the following methods :

A) Online Application : 

      • Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.icfaiuniversity.in/itsat and make payment of Rs. 700 towards the cost using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / Master Card / Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway.
      • Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application.
      • The ITSAT Prospectus will be sent to the registered applicants only. 

B) Download of Application Form :

      • Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from www.icfaiuniversity.in/itsat and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of 700 towards the cost of the application

C) Fill the Application :

      • Candidates can fill in the application form given in page No 7 and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 700 towards the cost.
      • The DD should be drawn in favor of “IFHE - Prospectus Fee A/c ITSAT 2021” payable at Hyderabad. The ITSAT Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
      • The completed Application Form in case of physical application & downloaded filled-in application with DD should be sent to the Admissions Office, through speed post or courier to :

                            “Admissions Officer (B.Tech. Program)

Analysis

ITSAT examination 2021 was conducted by ICFAI for the admission to Engineering courses in various branches. After the examination the team belonging to Edunews has observed it and offered comments as under. The question paper comprised of 4parts namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English each part has 30 questions carrying 1 mark.

Mathematics : The questions realting to Mathematics have been drawn on the basis of the syllabus at the level of 11th and 12th standard. All the questions pertains to the application / computation. Obviously some questions are difficult.

Physics : There are 30 questions designed on the basis of the syllabus of 12th standard. The questions are basically in the form of derivation. Therefore the candidates who are well versed can do better.

Chemistry : Questions under chemistry have been designed on the basis of the content of 12th standard, however few questions have been based at the level of 11th standard. The experts expected more of the output in the form of Chemical reaction.

English : Questions under English depended upon basic communication, grammar, verb, adverb part of speech prepositions jumble words fill in the blanks. The questions are of fundamental in nature therefore no confussion.

From the above it is very clear ITSAT 2021 is moderate and also simple compared to earlier years. Therefore the candidates can score decent marks.

 

Counselling
  • Candidates who are shortlisted in the offline mode of Examination can appear for the counseling.
  • ITSAT 2022 counseling procedure will commence from the 1st week of June.
  • No call letter will be sent to applicant individually.
  • The ITSAT 2022 counseling will be held online.
  • Candidates need to register online for counseling procedure.
  • After registering, they need to fill the options of colleges according to their choice and rank.
  • The seat will be allotted on the basis of options filled by candidates and availability of seat.
  • All candidates who are offered conditional admission are required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination.
  • Allocation of University & Branch of engineering is based on applicant’s performance in ITSAT / JEE (Main) 2021 / State Level / Other National Level Engineering Entrance Tests .

Eligibility

Interested aspirants have to comply with the following eligibility requirements to be able to take ITSAT 2021 :

  • Candidates who secure 60% aggregate in Class X and Class XII or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects.
  • Final year students of Class XII or its equivalent awaiting examination results are also eligible to apply.
  • Applicants who have completed 12 years of formal schooling in order to apply for the program.
  • Admission is also offered based on scores secured in ITSAT 2021 / JEE (Main) 2021/ State Level / Other National Level Engineering Entrance Tests (2021).
  • Candidates have to fulfil the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective Board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination.
    • If an applicant is found ineligible for whatever reasons even after admission into the Program, his/her admission will be cancelled.
    • All admissions are subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents of the students. The decision of the Admissions Committee regarding eligibility of any applicant is final.

For admission at IFHE Hyderabad, ICFAI University Dehradun, ICFAI University, Jaipur, ICFAI University, Raipur & ICFAI University Jharkhand

Candidates must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent with 50% or above aggregate marks. The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

For admission at ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh

The applicant should have passed class 12th or its equivalent with minimum 55%.or above aggregate marks. The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in Class 12th. Also, the student must have qualified JEE Main 2021.

The candidate who will be appearing for their Final exam for Class 12th is also eligible to apply for ITSAT 2022.

 

Cut-Off

ICFAI University will declare the ITSAT 2022 Cut off marks for limiting the number of applicants for counseling procedure. The cut off marks will be announced on the official website i.e. www.icfaiuniversity.in/itsat by ICFAI after the results are announced, in May 7, 2021. The final admission will be on the basis of the performance of candidates in ITSAT 2022.

Results

Itsat Exam Results : 

  • ICFAI is responsible for the release of ITSAT exam results and rank card.
  • The results and rank card will be made available online on the official website of the institute.
  • Candidates will be able to check the same by submitting the required details. 
  • To be able to check ITSAT results online, candidates need to follow the steps given below :
        • Visit the official website of the institute.
        • Navigate to “ITSAT results” link.
        • Submit the required details.
        • ITSAT score and rank card of the candidate will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned in ITSAT score card and download the same. Also take a print out of your ITSAT score card and preserve it for future reference. 
  • In case of any discrepancy, candidates will have to inform the admissions authority within 24 hours of the release of results.
Admit Card
  • The admit cards for ITSAT entrance exam will be made available online on the official website. The candidates will have to download their respective admit cards and preserve a hard copy for future reference.
  • The candidates will be required to furnish the ITSAT admit card and Membership card at the ITSAT exam centre.
  • The admit card is an important document to be carefully preserved by the candidate. It is a proof that the candidate has been approved to appear for the entrance exam. 
  • Visit the official website of the institute.
  • Navigate to “ITSAT ” link.
  • Click on ITSAT  admit card link.
  • Submit your application number as mentioned on the application form.
  • Your ITSAT admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned in ITSAT admit card and download the same. Also take a print out of your ITSAT admit card and preserve it for future reference. 
  • In case of any discrepancy, candidates will have to inform the admissions authority within 24 hours of the release of results.
  • Candidates will be required to carry their ITSAT admit card to the exam centre. Failing to produce the admit card at the ITSAT test centre, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the test.

Exam Day - Conduct and Guidelines :

Step 1 :

  • Schedule the exam through ITSAT Admission microsite (If you have applied and have your Form No and Password).

Step 2 :

  • Please bring a print out of the admit card on the day of Test.
  • Please also bring one government issued ID proof in original - Driving License / Aadhar Card / Voters ID / Pan Card / Passport.
  • No Show Fees: Students who take dates and do not show up, will be charged Rs.750/- for getting another date.
  • Candidate is allowed to leave the Test Center ONLY after Final Submission of "END TEST" remark that appears on the screen.
  • Use of Electronic/Manual Calculator is prohibited during the exam.
