HITSEE 2022 was conducted by Hindustan University, Tamil Nadu in various centers. The expert team sat on the question paper and analyzed as under. The question paper comprised of 3 parts viz. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each part has 40 questions of 1 mark each.
Physics - Questions have been raised on electrostatic, current electricity, magnetic effects of electric current and magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alternating current, optics, electromagnetic waves and wave optics, atomic and nuclear physics, dual nature of radiation and matter, semiconductor devices and their applications etc. All the questions expected candidates to draw derivations based on variables. Questions on Physics are normally are tricky, therefore candidates may feel the pricks.
Chemistry - Atomic structure, coordination chemistry and solid state chemistry, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium and chemical kinetics, electrochemistry, isomerism in organic compounds, carbonyl compounds, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, organic nitrogen compounds, bimolecular etc. are the chapters on which questions have been drawn. The candidates have been asked to work out the reaction based on the chemical compounds. In this case normally questions are easy therefore candidates might not find difficulty.
Mathematics - Questions under Mathematics, have been raised on applications of matrices and determinants, complex numbers, analytical geometry of two dimensions, vector algebra, analytical geometry of three dimensions, differential calculus, integral calculus and its applications, differential equations, probability distributions, discrete mathematics etc. all the questions are drawn from the text of 12th standard, therefore candidates might find it easier to solve the problems.
Thus the experts have expressed that the question paper of HITSEE 2019 is moderate; therefore many candidates can walk through the examination.
