BITSAT 2022 was conducted by BITS Pilani for the admission of candidates to Engineering courses in 3 campus viz Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. After the examination the team from Eduneews could spare time on the paper and analys it as under. The question paper comprised of 5 parts viz Physics (40), Chemistry (40), Mathematics (45), English Proficiency (15) and logical reasoning (15). Each question carries 3 marks therefore the total marks of BITSAT – 450 marks.
Physics – Under Physics the experts could find 40 questions relating to Impulse and Momentum, Gravitation, Current Electricity, Kinematics, Work and Energy, Heat and Thermodynamics, Magnetic Effect of Current, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Oscillations, Electromagnetic Induction and Modern Physics all the questions stimulate the Candidates to make out the derivations. The questions appear to be bit tough for an average candidate but definitely it is a soft and hard working students.
Chemistry – In case of the questions have been drawn on the topics viz Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Organic Compounds with Functional Groups Containing Oxygen and Nitrogen, P, d and f block elements, Atomic Structure, Biological, Industrial and Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Hydrogen and s-block Elements and Theoretical Principles of Experimental Chemistry. The questions expected the candsidates to draw chemical reactions using various units obviously the candidates having grip over, can score better.
Mathematics – The questions in Mathematics have appeared on Algebra, Three-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Ordinary Differential Equations, Statistics, Trigonometry, Differential calculus, Linear Programming, Vectors, and Two-dimensional Coordinate Geometry. All these topics realtged to either 11th or 12th standard therefore candidate having stuff in the subject can do better
English proficiency – Questions have been drawn from topics such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension and Composition candidates might not face any problems in English as most of them have knowledge thereon.
Logical Reasoning – A candidate who is able to think logically, perceive the data accurately, understand the relationships correctly, figure out the missing numbers or words, and apply rules to new and different contexts will be able to score well in this section. This section has questions that measure the above-mentioned abilities such tasks as detecting missing links, following directions, classifying words, establishing sequences, and completing analogies.
From the above it is very clear that BITSAT 2021 question paper has been blended with the thorns and also roses. Non the less the candidates having knowledge in the subjects cab easily score good marks.
