BVP B-CAT 2022 online application process

  • Visit the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.
  • Link of official website - http://bvuniversity.edu.in/
  • Clicking on the tab for the BVP B-CAT link on top.
  • Enter all the mandatory details in all the required fields.
  • On successful completion of the BVP B-CAT 2022 application form, the candidate will get a unique ID and password.
  • Candidate must keep this ID and password safely for future use.
  • Now make the fee payment for the BVP B-CAT 2022 exam, and it must be done immediately as part of the process. 
  • Applicants pay the fee by net banking/credit/debit card or DD/ or can deposit cash at the regional office.
  • Students can submit the application form along with the required documents to the `Admission Office, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, L.B.S. Marg, Pune 411030.
  • Aspirants need to submit the application fee of 1,500 through a demand draft, drawn in favour of `The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University`, payable at Pune.

Analysis

After BVP B-CAT exam, the team from Edunews has analyzed the question paper keeping in view the pattern and also the marks assigned. The paper consists of 2 parts of Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, introduction to IT and C language concepts.

Mathematics: It consists of 2 parts at the level of 10th and 12th standard respectively.  Normally questions in Mathematics are more on easy to moderate.

Logical and Abstract Reasoning: Questions on logical reasoning have been raised on number series, syllogisms, decisions in group environment, puzzles, blood relations, data interpretations, etc. It is needless to say that the questions are complex in nature.

Fundamentals on Information Technology: All the questions in this part are on the basis of fundamentals in computer application. Generally students are well versed with basics of computer, therefore questions are easy.

C language concepts: Basic data types and operators, statements and control flow, declaration and initialization, functions and structures, strings, pointers, memory allocations, etc. are the area in which the questions have been raised. Many candidates have exposure to it; therefore they might not face any problem.

On the whole, the question paper is ranging from easy to moderate level.

Counselling
  • Only those candidates who have qualified the exam will be called for the counselling session.
  • Date of counseling session wise will be uploaded by the University soon after the announcement of results.
  • Inclusion of one’s name in the merit list does not guarantee admission to the course/institute.
  • Students will not receive individual counselling letters.
  • Candidates are required to carry along their mark sheets, admit cards etc. to the counselling centre.
  • Candidates shortlisted will be offered seats to the courses of their choice basis the combined merit list prepared by the University.
  • Candidates will be called for counselling as per their merit list and will be offered a seat as per the availability.

Eligibility

MCA (Three Years Full Time)

  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration with Mathematics as a course at 10 + 2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST category) at the qualifying Examination.

MCA Second year Lateral Entry

  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration in BCA, BCS, B. Sc(IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10 +2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST category) at the qualifying Examination. These Candidates are also eligible for MCA (Three years full time programme

 

Cut-Off

The candidates who score equal to or above the given cutoff of BVP B-CAT 2022 will stand a chance to avail admissions in the  3 years full-time Master of Computer Application (MCA) and MCA Second Year Lateral Entry Programmes.

Admit Card
  • BVP BCAT admit/admission card will be dispatched by post to the candidates under the certificate of posting.
  • The admissions card will indicate Roll Number and Test Center allotted to the candidate with its address.
  • In case the admission card is not received by a candidate, he /she should contact the office of the Bharati Vidyapeeth at New Delhi, Kolhapur or Pune one day prior to test during working hours.
  • Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall.
  • Each candidate is required to carry his/her admit card to the exam venue.
  • In the absence of the admit card, the candidate will be barred from the test.

NOTE:
