After BVP B-CAT exam, the team from Edunews has analyzed the question paper keeping in view the pattern and also the marks assigned. The paper consists of 2 parts of Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, introduction to IT and C language concepts.
Mathematics: It consists of 2 parts at the level of 10th and 12th standard respectively. Normally questions in Mathematics are more on easy to moderate.
Logical and Abstract Reasoning: Questions on logical reasoning have been raised on number series, syllogisms, decisions in group environment, puzzles, blood relations, data interpretations, etc. It is needless to say that the questions are complex in nature.
Fundamentals on Information Technology: All the questions in this part are on the basis of fundamentals in computer application. Generally students are well versed with basics of computer, therefore questions are easy.
C language concepts: Basic data types and operators, statements and control flow, declaration and initialization, functions and structures, strings, pointers, memory allocations, etc. are the area in which the questions have been raised. Many candidates have exposure to it; therefore they might not face any problem.
On the whole, the question paper is ranging from easy to moderate level.
