AMAT 2020 Examination was conducted by Alliance University Bangalore as per the calendar of events. After the examination, the team of edunews has observed the question paper of MBA/PGDM and offered the following issues to be considered for analysis and interpretation. The examination comprised 5 components namely, Quantitative (15marks), conceptual(15 marks), General Knowledge(15 marks), General English (15 marks), and Comprehension (5 marks).
The experts have observed that questions under quantitative methods relate to set theory, matrices, statistical methods, simple calculus, computation of profit/loss/percentage/growth rate, etc. All the questions are designed carefully by the experts so that the candidates from the social science background feel easier. It is soft for the students from the science/commerce background, hence candidates from this background may not find any difficulty in answering the question.
The experts have observed the 2nd part- Conceptual of the principles and practice of management has also been considered to test the ability of the candidates in the domain subjects. The questions under this part are easier therefore candidates can secure a decent mark prescribed in the test.
The team of experts has further analyzed the objective-type questions under General Knowledge. All questions under general knowledge related to the Indian economy, polity, socio-cultural, legal, and technological related issues. A further couple of questions in the question paper raised on history and geography. The candidates who are able to update themselves through the newspaper can do better in the test than others who remain dormant.
As far as General English is concerned, the experts feel that the questions in the paper have been drawn from basic English besides the passage precise writing, business correspondence both offline and electronic. Generally, the candidates feel easier on General English component as such, most of the candidate will be able to secure good marks in it.
Comprehension is another part of the question paper as per the syllabus. 5 Questions raised could test the ability of the candidates in the field of comprehension. Most of the candidates feel that it is also similar to the top GK, hence it will be soft for most of the candidates to walk through the test.
