Analysis

ATMA Exam 2022 This year’s question paper had three sections and each section was divided into two parts - I and II. It is worth noting that, unlike the previous year`s question paper, this year, the order of the section was shuffled. The order of the sections was; Analytical Reasoning Part 1, Verbal Skills Part 1, Quantitative Skills Part 1, Analytical Reasoning Part 2, Verbal Skills Part 2, and Quantitative Skills Part 2. Each question had four options. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded while 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. The duration of the test was 180 minutes.

Analytical Reasoning Skills: Most of the questions in this section were asked from Critical Reasoning and there were approximately 15-18 questions from this topic. The section included topics such as Puzzles, Arrangements, Coding and Decoding, Statement and Inference, etc. The difficulty level of questions was moderate.

Quantitative Ability Skill: The majority of the questions in this section were from Number System, Arithmetic, Data Interpretation, Modern Math, etc. It may be noted that this section was the toughest of all the sections. The questions were lengthy, time-consuming, and difficult. A good attempt for this section would be 18-22 questions.

Verbal Skills: The maximum number of questions in the verbal skills section was from Reading Comprehension. The types of questions included Fill in the Blanks and Jumbled Paragraph, however, the number of vocabulary-based questions was less as compared to the last year. There were no direct questions based on topics such as synonyms and antonyms. It`s notable that the passage questions were lengthy and challenging.
